Ronnie and Joe hosted this outing to a Rennaisance Festival in Charlotte.

Patriot's Point

This was a day trip to Charleston to see the maritime part at Patriot's Point and to go to the beach at Isle of Palms (?). We also had a great meal on the way home at Shem Creek.

Whitewater Rafting onthe French Broad River

We paddled the French Broad River with French Broad River Expeditions (?). The river was very low (450CFS) but was still boatable and we had fun. Because of the level we were limited to the shorter run from Barnard to Stackhouse.

We had a great dinner at the Smoky Mountain Diner in Hot Springs.

The Highland Games at Grandfather Mountain

We camped near Boone and went to the Highland Games at Grandfather Mountain. The campsite was nice (need the name and location).
